BURUNDI - DECAF (ESPRESSO)

COSDAR is a cooperative founded by Néstor, an agronomist with extensive experience in the agricultural sector and a deep commitment to the development of Cankuzo, Burundi. After more than a decade working at the Ministry of Agriculture, he decided to apply his knowledge to strengthen local coffee production. Since the creation of its first washing station in 2013, COSDAR has grown to manage four stations, including Musenyi, located near the Tanzanian border.

This station, powered by solar energy, has become a model of efficiency and sustainability, prioritizing functionality and the quality of wet processing. In a region where coffee cultivation is relatively recent, the cooperative promotes continuous improvement and direct connection with producers, fostering sustainable agricultural and community development.
